Hey look, racism!

You don’t have to squint - it’s right there in Kamala Harris’ latest economic proposal to give up to 1 million “forgivable” - i.e, transferrable to the taxpayers - loans to entrepreneurs. Provided the entrepreneurs are black, that is. The loans would provide up to $20,000 to black men to start their own business, which they wouldn’t be required to pay back if they meet certain requirements. The money would be funded through “partnerships between ‘mission-driven lenders,’ community oriented banks and the [tax-funded] Small Business Administration,” CNBC explains.

Harris’ campaign co-chair Rep. Cedric Richmond said the loans would help create “[a]n economy where people don’t just get by, but get ahead. Where Black men are equipped with the tools to thrive: to buy a home, provide for our families, start a business and build wealth.”

Harris’ campaign explained it like this: “Vice President Harris is laying out an agenda to give Black men the tools to build wealth and achieve financial freedom, lower costs for themselves and their families, and protect their rights—addressing the issues that Black men across the country have told her are their top concerns.”

With a taxpayer-funded proposal to hand out money on the basis of race, including or excluding people depending on their level - or lack - of melanin.

Or, to put it more succinctly, racism
