No matter what the final vote counts show, the real loser in this year’s election is the legacy media, award-winning investigative journalist and “Just the News” Editor-in-Chief John Solomon says.

When it comes to election coverage, the legacy media’s dishonesty has become so blatant and ubiquitous that its reporting has become obnoxious to the American public, Solomon explains in a piece published on his website:

“Four years, four indictments, two assassination attempts, a Jan. 6 based impeachment and a heavy dose of bogus and biased coverage later, the American voting public seems to be clamoring for such a change.

“Especially with a steady flow of revelations of stories having been suppressed, like concerns about Joe Biden’s mental acuity early in the election or the Hunter Biden laptop.”

To make his case, Solomon cites:

  • A recent Gallup Poll revealing that trust in the media has set a record low for the third straight year.
  • A Media Research Center (MRC) study showing that 85% of media’s TV coverage of Trump has been negative, which Solomon says has been so slanted and inaccurate that it worsened public sentiment.
  • Media censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story in late 2020 that was “based on false information and an influence campaign tied directly to Joe Biden’s campaign advisers.”
  • Pollsters explaining that Americans have lost interest in today’s media, because they want facts and news, not agenda-driven spin.
  • A false media claim that Republican Candidate Donald Trump wanted Rep. Liz Cheney shot that was so egregious it was condemned even by HBO’s Bill Maher, a liberal zealot.

As a result of this constant, flagrant failure to provide fair, open-minded news, historians may one day declare the legacy media to be the biggest loser in this year’s election, Solomon concludes.
