Democrats and liberal media have been portraying illegal alien MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia sympathetically, referring to him as a “Maryland Dad” – but, they’ve had to change their mantra, “The Five” Co-Host Jesse Watters explained Monday.

Now that unsavory facts about Garcia’s true character have come to light, the Democrats and media have changed their narrative demanding that the Trump Administration return to the U.S. the illegal alien it deported back to his home country of El Salvador.

Instead of moaning about the plight of a “Maryland Dad,” they’re now repeating the mantra of “Due Process,” Watters said, hitting Democrat Strategist/Co-Host Jessica Tarlov with five inconvenient truths about Garcia that reveal the illegal alien to be a dangerous character:

“Has tattoos on his hand that spell MS-13.”

“He’s wearing paraphernalia that says the slogan for MS-13.”

“He gets caught up in a gang sweep with ranking members of MS-13 as part of a murder investigation.”

“He gets pulled over and suspected of human trafficking.”

“He gets accused of slugging his wife twice - and she has it on video.”

“And suddenly, his name isn’t ‘Maryland Dad,’ it’s ‘Due Process,’” Watters said.

Watters also noted that, despite liberal claims that Garcia is afraid to go home to El Salvador, the illegal alien MS-13 gang member is on record saying that he isn’t.

What’s more, the arguments used to defend Garcia are both hypocritical and illogical, Watters explained:

“You can’t break into the country and ignore the process of coming here and then want a process to leave.

“You cannot cut the line to come here and then ask to be put in a line to go home.”

Watters closed by taking on the fear-mongering claim that, if Garcia stays in his home country, “You’re next.” That’s the Trump-Is-A-Dictator Hoax all over again, Watters said, pointing out that Democrats lost when they banked on that tactic in the 2024 elections.
