The live-streaming service, Twitch has become an echo chamber of Jew hatred for quite some time.
But after facing scrutiny, the Amazon-owned platform believes they can now defeat antisemitism by banning usage of the word, “Zionist.”
“As part of our Hateful Conduct policy, we prohibit the use of terms that may not be harmful or abusive in isolation but can be used as a slur or to denigrate others in certain contexts,” read a statement recently published by Twitch.
“In line with that approach, starting today, using the term “Zionist” to attack or demean another individual or group of people based on their background or religious belief is against our rules,” it announced.
As I’ve mentioned in my previous blogs, Zionism is the belief that Jewish people have the right to self-determination in Israel, their ancestral homeland. With at least eight out of 10 Jewish Americans holding Israel as an "essential part" of their identity, most Jews around the globe are Zionists.

But Twitch has ironically validated the spewing of keyboard jihadists who’ve labeled “Zionist” a dirty word.
To their credit, they’ve made exceptions for people “using the term to refer to the political movement, whether in a supportive or critical way.”
Still. Even with Twitch’s clarified examples of do’s and don’ts, “Hate Speech” rules are always a slippery slope. They always fall in the wrong hands of the faceless administrators who apply them unequally. As we know, the Internet thought police are typically on the side of the woke mob spreading most of the antisemitism in the first place.
Twitch stating their “goal isn’t to stifle conversation” in an announcement barring speech, no matter how hateful, is quite the contradiction. That goes especially when they equate speech they dislike as “conduct.”
As someone whose social media comments get flooded daily by the mixture of screaming brother husbands and he/she’s for Hamas, I know what it’s like to be called a “dirty Zionist” by someone who clearly means “dirty Jew.”
Believe me, it gets ugly.
But the internet was never supposed to be safe space. We’re adults. We can handle mean words.
Even with this speech code, Twitch’s revised “Hateful Conduct policy” doesn’t even begin to address the bile spewed by one of their most popular stars, Hasan Piker, who calls for another 9/11 and says “it doesn’t matter if f**king rapes happened on October 7th.”

“That doesn’t change the dynamic for me even this much,” the proud Hamas supporter, who has also interviewed a Houthi terrorist, stated in one of his livestreams.
Piker, a spoiled nepo-baby who hates capitalism has taken to Twitch to call “America a top 10 terrorist organization.” It’s no surprise that his fat ogre of an uncle is Cenk Uygur, who preaches the same Hamas propaganda for The Young Turks.
