The Newsom Nightmare continues, as California’s collectivist class targets one of the most easily understandable, longest-recognized, God-given rights: the right to defend oneself at home. Introduced February 21, Assembly Bill 1333 would strip away key provisions in California’s penal code that currently justify homicide in defense of “habitation, property, or person.” Straight Arrow News…

A month-and-a-half have passed since the horrific, mass-casualty Los Angeles/Pacific Palisades Wildfires in January, and, even before the devastating fires, warnings and lessons about the dangers of poorly managed, government-claimed, land, about poorly managed water systems, about the mismanaged Los Angeles Fire Department, and about the proven danger of power lines over tinder-filled…

After Friday’s historic display of tension and disagreement between President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on one side, and US-funded, US-armed, Ukrainian “President” Volodymyr Zelenskyy (whose term actually expired last May), on the other, many Americans might think it a logical outcome to see the US State Department halt funding for the repairs of Ukraine’s energy grid. Some…

Over the past few days, users of “Meta” might have noticed some changes. Especially if they, like some of us at MRCTV, have suffered the evident government-tied censorship of their posts that were part of a giant, years-long suppression campaign – a campaign that already has seen one Supreme Court challenge, and will see another. The change was announced last month, and MRC Free Speech America…

Given the vast, seemingly ever-expanding landscape of federal government payoffs and overreach uncovered by DOGE – redistribution of wealth such as FEMA sending $59 million of our earnings to New York City to house migrants while we try to pay for heat and electricity – another scandal, or series of them, seemed inevitable. And, yes, we have another! But this connects to years of central…

Evidently incapable of reading the proverbial room, or reading English, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers (D) has decided to prepare for Mother’s Day in a very special way. His Wokeness just backed a bill that would force all official state documents handling artificial insemination to replace the word “mother” with the lovely construction of “inseminated person.” Like a farm animal. Seriously…

Riding the fumes of normalcy bias, Senator Liz Warren’s (D-MA) 2010 bureaucratic creation, the deceptively titled “Consumer Financial Protection Bureau” (CFPB), might be facing a DOGE-inspired end to its Constitution-insulting, privacy-invading, politically fascist thuggery that has harmed many participants in many fields of financial services. Both morally and constitutionally, it never should…

Despite the requisite caveat that Google long has been known for being a less-than-trustworthy search engine (as many know, it included MRCTV on its “Black List”) and despite the fact that correlation does not prove causation, numerous Washington Watchers have noticed a rather striking, almost amusing, and, perhaps, revealing, trend in the D.C. area digital world. Since Trump’s return to D.C.…

With significant international and domestic issues swirling like tornadoes across the globe, the kerfuffle over Donald Trump wanting to call the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America” might seem trifling, a mere curiosity inspired by a nearly whimsical Troller-in-Chief. But the debate reveals a great deal about the dusty, dying institutions that still try to call themselves “THE” press. In…

Imagine a mobster punching you to the ground, then using a foot to push your face into the dirt while one of his snickering, weasel-like lackeys told you he was helping you smell the goodness of the earth. That’s the situation mimicked in a headline offered by the government-supporting Associated Press as it writes about a new, onerous, command that California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) wants to…
